So, I’ve not posted about current events for a couple of months, but I’m looking through my timeline and becoming more and more concerned about the messages I’m seeing, especially since Gov Holcomb’s order today regarding masks. For my brother and sister Christians, is the wearing or not wearing of masks in public an issue of salvation? Are we really giving up freedom by wearing a piece of cloth on our faces? As Christians, we gave up all our physical rights and freedoms when we said yes to His calling. Our sole focus throughout this should be to show love to the people around us. While there is some doubt about whether wearing masks are effective in preventing the spread of this virus, I think there is little question that wearing a mask that might not be effective shows more love to our neighbors, than not wearing a mask which, undoubtedly, does nothing to prevent the virus. This probably won’t be a popular opinion and that’s ok. I love you all!
